Do I have to transfer from my current school?Yes, all students will transfer to the High Performance Academy for the school year, they can then return to their original school at the end of the academic year. The High Performance Academy will be a fully recognised independent school, apon Tusla inspection. All students will be placed on a recognised school register for the academic year, not affecting their school attedence, as stated under Section 14 Education (Welfare) Act, (2000). If accepted parents will be assisted in the transfer process.

Are coaches and teachers fully qualified?Yes all staff will be garda vetted. Teachers have the full academic requirements to teach their specific subject along with being recognised by the teaching council. All coaches will have UEFA A or B license badges completed. All strength and conditioning coaches will have level 8 or 9 qualifications in sport science, performance coaching or physical education.

How much does the course cost?We offer many different packages, the High Performance Academy is a 9 month programme. We also offer training camps during school mid-terms and summer holidays. Please contact for more details.

What opportunities will my child recieve?All students who attend the High Performance Academy will get the opportunity to play in competitive matches in training and against other elite level teams from Ireland and abroad. Through relationships and connections built over the years, scouts from top level clubs and academies will be invited to showcase events, during the year.

Do we offer accomodation for people not from Limerick or the surrounding areas?Yes. For students who wish to attend this course from other counties or countries, we can organise accomodation with host Irish families. Please contact for more details on the cost of the different packages available.

What does an average day look like?Players will arrive on campus at 9:00am. A standard day will begin with a athletic development, followed by interactive workshops, education in our core academic subjects, such as English, Maths and Physical Education. We will have an intense pitch session and finish with recover before finishing at 3:00pm. Sample week below, this may change depending on matches, courses organised, availability of guest speakers etc.

Is this a recognised school?Yes, the High Performance Academy wiil be a fully recognised independent school apon Tusla inspection, recognised under Section 10 of the Education Act 1998).

Do I have to play League of Ireland to attend the academy?No. This is an elite programme, we are looking for players who have a passion to improve in soccer and play at the highest level possible. This programme caters for players of all abilities, as we aim to help them achieve their full potential both on and off the pitch.

Who is eligible to attend?Our full time academy programme is for boys and girls bewteen the age of 15 years and 18 years old. Students going in to transition year, 5th year or school leavers may also apply
