HIGH PERFORMANCE
SOCCER ACADEMY
Welcome to our International Football Academy where we offer International students the chance to experience a hybrid model, combining football and education, all while immersing themselves in the Irish culture. Here they will get to practice continuously with UEFA A & B licensed coaches and sports performance coaches with Masters in Performance Coaching, at the world class facilities in the UL Sports Arena. Our teachers have the required qualifications in their subject area e.g. English, Maths and are recognised by the teaching council. Our curriculum aligns to the transition year guideline set by the Department of Education. Pupils entering the Leaving Certificate programme on completion of the High Performance Academy Transition Year programme will be better equipped and more well rounded individuals than their counterparts who did not have the benefit of this year. Players in this program will benefit from the highest quality of coaching, instruction, world class facilities, resources, and opportunity to develop their skills, both on and off the pitch, helping them to bridge the gap with professional academies around the world.
As part of the program, our Internationl students will train as professional footballers and combine academic subjects like Math and English with football coaching courses offered by the FAI as well as modules in Sports Science, Sports Pyschology, video analysis, media / interviews, and personal development. On a weekly basis they will have access to areas such as Player Fitness Testing, Player Position Specific Training, Strength and Conditioning Training , Speed, Agility & Quickness Development sessions, Sports Science and Nutrition, Sports Psychology, Pool Bases Recovery Sessions, Weekly Coaching Reports and Feedback, Special Guest Talks, Preparations in soccer and education curriculum vitae

Programme Dates:
Phase 1: September 4th to October 28th
Phase 2: November 6th to December 15th
Phase 3: January 15th to February 9th (2024)
Phase 4: February 19th to March 22nd (2024)
Phase 5: April 8th to May 17th (2024)

FULL TIME FOOTBALL

UEFA LICENSED COACHES

All coaching will be carried out by UEFA A & B licensed coaches

S&C session will carried out by coaches with Bachelors and Maters degrees in sports science courses
